Ten Warrior athletes in four sports commit to college teams
Signings take place Nov. 8 at Avera Sports Institute

Ten WHS seniors and athletes signed National Letters of Intent to further their academic and athletic talents in college Nov. 8 at the Avera Sports Institute.
Girls basketball standouts Jada Cunningham and Taylor VanderVelde committed to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
For baseball, Alex Bertram, one of WHS’s top pitchers since freshman year, committed to South Dakota State University in Brookings.
Four Warrior softball players signed letters, including Olivia Gasca to Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minn., Taylor VanderMaten to Dakota State University in Madison, Tara Oren to Mount Marty College in Yankton and Carley Goetschius to Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.
Goetschius said it was a good event.
“It was really fun signing with my friends and people from school,” Goetschius said. “I am looking forward to a new experience and exctied to play at a college level.”
Warrior boys golf standout Will Grevlos committed to the University of Minnesota. Team members Hank Eggebraaten and Nathan Woodall both committed to play golf at the University of Sioux Falls.
