Warrior show choir members competed at the Executive Showcase competition Saturday at Roosevelt High School and finished strong.
Both the Stage Lights JV show choir and Classic Connection (ClaCo) varsity show choir finished as First-Runner-Ups in their respective divisions Jan. 27.
Waconia, Minn., won both divisions.
Sophomore Izabella Driscoll said she thought the weekend went great.
“The varsity did good in finals, and the JV did better than any of the competitions we’ve gone to this year,” Driscoll said.
“I’m excited for the upcoming competitions in the future!”
Sophomore Brooke DeBeer agreed.
“I thought that the prelims didn’t really show how good we are, but in finals we did a lot better and that showed in our placing,” DeBeer said. “The more we practice, the better we will get for future competitions.”
Both choirs will next be in action on Feb. 10 at the Mo Show Competition at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Washington High School. ClaCo is scheduled to perform at 3:45 p.m. in prelims.
